  3. The problem is that, although you have set the offsets correctly, the boundary limits for the probe to "probe the area" have not been adjusted. It is my belief that this is a flaw in ABL of Marlin 2.0.x.

  6. Eventually it was a mixture of things that sort of solved this. Setting the Z-offset a bit more tight helped some Probing with more gridpoints helped Instead of using glue, I used painterstape.

  10. When the printer ignores the scanned topology (grid) of the bed this means that the levelling is not active. G29 activates the M420 to enable the grid. A G28 after scanning the bed will reset this.

  12. Actual task in your case is to find correct nozzle height for the first layer, so the force for pulling out the paper is not important. It just has to be the same every time you make calibration.

  14. The Prusa printers can do this, based on the maximum and minimum values of X and Y the G-code of the sliced object; M555 will set the bounds of the probing area. However, you need a Prusa printer and use PrusaSlicer.

  16. The issue was BLTouch i'm not sure what use is this thing if it cannot compensate for differences in bed or frame. I'm not sure why but the probing seems to be bad.

  20. The answer turned out to be that the printer had previously had a different hotend attached, and there was a menu that I'd missed that set the offset for the probe independently from the Z-axis.
